Functional Testing for Earlier Diagnosis of Serious Eye Disease

At our practice, we’re proud to test how your eyes function at the cellular level using electroretinography (ERG). ERG testing is like an ECG, but instead of testing your heart function, we use ERG to test the function of the different layers of your retina. This helps us to diagnose and track sight-threatening diseases like diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma earlier, and ideally before visible damage occurs. We use the patient-friendly and non-invasive RETeval Device, which is the only ERG testing device that is FDA-cleared for testing without dilation.
